Artistic approach

Choreographer Marie-Claude Rodrigue’s artistic approach is devoted to the deep exploration of energy work as well as the fusion of contemporary dance and Qi Gong.

At the core of Marie-Claude’s choreographic universe lie her respect for the transmission of ancestral values, her fascination in mixing Native and Oriental cultures, and her social concerns.

Her ritual performances integrate dance, video, installations and the poetic power of words.

In 2003, Marie-Claude founded Danse Fragments Libres, born out of the necessity of creating nomadic shows that reflect the cross-fusion of cultures and the sacred part of art.
